Synthesis 2 teaches the skill that separates a flat beginner patch from a professional one: making a sound move. You'll learn modulation from the ground up, starting with the filter envelope and the LFO, plus unison and glide for size and expression, by working directly inside Primer, Futureproof's in-browser wavetable synth.
Instead of memorizing routing diagrams, you'll hear each move first and then reproduce it. You'll train your ear on the one rule that decodes most records: if a sound moves once and settles, an envelope did it, and if it keeps moving, an LFO did it. By the end, you'll be able to build an acid line, a tempo-synced wobble bass, and a wide supersaw lead from scratch. The goal is practical control: knowing how to make a sound open, breathe, wobble, or swell instead of sitting still, and how to make one thin oscillator sound like a wall.
